"Miscellaneous" is my catchall. I disbelieve in the concept of evolution applied to art. Science clearly has it and for this reason we feel more secure with it than with art. I do not see any evolution between the work of Velázquez and Picasso, or between the works of Praxiteles and Juli González.
If this reasoning is applied to the path of a single artist, I can say that its different "stages" are merely different places or different mental states. The beginings have the seed implicitly of what will happen later. My old work is "a place", as valid as any other.
